Catalyst Game Labs live-streamed from PAX that they would be reprinting the first edition of the fantasy cyberpunk RPG Shadowrun.
A Facebook post points to Catalyst’s YouTube, but I can’t find the announcement there, and perhaps that’s due to sound problems. However, the accompanying graphic makes it clear.

The assumption is that his new reprint of the 2050-set Sixth World will be a different quality of print and might even tidy up some of the issues with the PDF scan that’s currently sold.
A new print run, outside the print-on-demand option, hasn’t happened in 35 years.
Despite the nostalgia for the game, even fans cheerfully refer to it as a ‘glorious dumpster fire‘, so Catalyst will be torn between improvements and authenticity.
The game is currently on its sixth edition and even the latest courts controversy with free Berlin editions being delayed.
